Hobart 418

Hobart 418 is a good general purpose low hydrogen electrode, which is easy to use in all welding positions, with excellent arc stability, low spatter levels, and easy slag removal. This electrode exhibits effortless arc starting, low moisture absorption rate, good wetting action, and easy slag removal. This electrode conforms to ASME BPVC Section II part C SFA 5.1 AWS E7018-1 H4 R and E7018 H4 R and can be used for steels with UTS upto 490 N/mm2 and impact toughness upto -46°C where low hydrogen (H4) compliance and low moisture absorption requirements are preferred.
