AWS A5.29: E111T1-GM H4
An excellent Ar/CO2 (M21) mix gas shielded high-strength flux-cored wire for applications that demand all-position welding capability, high quality, low spatter levels, low Hydrogen (H4), and more demanding Charpy impact toughness compared to moderate applications. This wire is formulated with -60°C Charpy impact toughness conformance (undiluted weld metal tested as per ASME BPVC Section II Part C A5.29: AWS E111T1-GM H4). Welding of high-strength low-alloy steels, heavy-thick ASTM A 514 steel used in shrouds, cranes in the offshore segment, and API 5L Grade X80 used for pipelines is made easier with this wire option.
