AWS A5.29: E81T1-Ni1 MJ H4

An excellent Ar/CO2 (M21) mix gas shielded flux cored wire for applications demanding all-position welding capability, high quality, low spatter levels, low Hydrogen (H4), and more demanding Charpy impact toughness compared to moderate applications in both As-Welded and PWHT conditions. This wire is formulated with -60°C Charpy impact toughness conformance (undiluted weld metal tested as per ASME BPVC Section II Part C A5.29: AWS E81T1-Ni1 MJ H4) and high UTS, YS, CVN properties even after long PWHT soak durations (8 hours soak at 620°C). The wire is engineered to provide compliance to sour service requirements. Outstanding wire option for steel fabrication, piping, pressure vessel, and offshore.
