Hobart 316LT1-1 is a rutile flux cored wire intended for welding the 19% Cr / 12% Ni / 3% Mo type stainless steels. The wire has been specially designed for 100% CO2 gas shielding and all-position welding. It exhibits excellent slag detachability and almost spatter-free operating features. It can be used for joining types of 316, 316L, CF-8M, and CF-3M stainless steels. It provides high intergranular corrosion resistance to pressure vessel applications due to the low carbon content.
