AWS A5.18: ER70S-3
Quantum Arc 6 is a copper-coated GMAW solid wire for all general engineering and structural fabrication in unalloyed fine-grained steels up to a yield strength of 400 MPa. Additional deoxidisers help to provide excellent wetting characteristics, depositing a smooth weld bead with a uniform and flatter bead shape. A high level of deoxidisers also helps for welding on contaminated base metal surfaces with rust.
